Walking past a raised garden bed in Port Douglas (Queensland, Australia) I noticed this insect resting on a gardenia flower. It was yelling at me to photograph it.

Mossman Gorge Waterfall

This is a photo I took on a recent trip to Mossman Gorge about 45 minutes north of Cairns. I was really mad with myself on this trip as I forgot to pack my tripod. Honestly, of all the things to forget to pack. Anyhow, I set up my camera on top of my camera bag on a rock in the middle of the stream. This stream is a tributary of the main river in Mossman Gorge.
